Original VM carburetor (with acceleration pump)
I’m planning to start disassembling parts.
Looking closely… it’s cracked?
It looks like it’s been cracked for quite some time. My spirits are already dampened before even starting to disassemble… (*´з`)
The hoses have naturally become brittle and resinified. They’re crumbly.
They crumble to pieces if you touch them.
I’m pretty sure there are no parts available for this area. Worst case, I’ll have to go without the acceleration pump.
My GS1000S also used this VM carburetor (without acceleration pump) back then.
Just adding an acceleration pump requires various seals, so it’s a bit troublesome in modern times.
I’ll hold off and think about it for now (´-`).｡oO
