Doesn’t the end of the year feel thin? It’s pretty sparse.
We’re just moving forward with the idea that there might be a long holiday at the end of the month.
Well then, let’s go ahead and change the tires.

This time it’s Dunlop’s Alpha14.
The GSX-R1100K’s standard size 160/60-17 is really easy to ride.
I don’t think it’s necessary to go wider.

Everyone’s favorite PEO axle shaft.
It has Torx fasteners, and while the flush fit is nice, you’ll need T100/T80.
It seems most people get the tools at the same time.

I thought it would be fine if they just brought them each time, but…
The usage rate is surprisingly high, so I was worried about losing them and the management hassle, so I bought them.
Koken 22mm H Torx Bit T100 107.22-T100
Koken 22mm H Torx Bit T80 107.22-T80
You don’t need to bring the T80/100 anymore. (;’∀’)

Ideally a box set would be better, but since T100 is expensive, I went with this one. ( ;∀;)

Heave-ho, heave-ho~ and the tire change is complete.

It’s easy to remove the weights with fishing line.
For example, items like FRP or carbon products that are fixed on both sides, or when removing ETC antennas.

I polished the inside of both front and rear wheels with Plexus.

I changed the air valve to Gale Speed, which is compatible with the original wheels.

The air pump MP181DZ got both front and rear beads up. This is amazing~
By the way, I did the front work with the valve stem already installed, and it went up without any issues.
If you’re doing DIY tire changes, this is definitely something you should check out!

I changed the oil to Shell Advance Ultra 4T 15W-50.
The hydraulic switch was as expected difficult on the GSX-R, so I skipped it.
All that’s left is a test ride and we’re done~ (*´з`)
