When the temperature display shows “LO or HI” or
doesn’t work, it’s most likely the sensor
*We confirm by swapping used stock

GSX-R750RK engine cover installation
Remove the oil pressure sensor.
The 1200 can get it from a different location too

If you spend the money, you can get it from anywhere there’s oil pressure
possible.
*We’re not doing that this time

Lately,
unused wires are
pulled out.

They’re already stiff and can’t be reused anyway
If you want to use them again, run new ones on top

Heat shrink and done.
If you want to handle it safely,
use “Sanichi”
Sanichi = 1/3 heat shrink
Yonichi = 1/4 heat shrink

High shrink ratio tubes like these
“become thicker” “adhesive melts out”
have higher risk of problems and aren’t recommended

Also perfect for soldered or spliced areas
It’s safer not to use Sumi tube “FZ”
for these situations.

Not my own work, but
in the past for some reason
there was a bike that kept blowing fuses.
It’s a long story, so I’ll save it for next time, but
“copper wire poking through the Sumi tube”
Well, it was just luck,
but they found it.

We’re short on bolts, so let’s replace them.

with a straightforward design
reverse rotation makes it free-spin and allows lightning-fast insertion
you can also insert with a stud puller, but
“it’s super tedious”

the key is working quickly and saving time
if you have spare time,
you can expand your inspection and cleaning scope
which should improve overall quality.
If you don’t have one, definitely get it!
