First time with a seat bag? “Incredibly convenient” and surprisingly not uncool? The Henry Begins DH-710 was the best choice

Yeah, yeah ♪ You want to ride your motorcycle as simply and coolly as possible, right?

I’d like to go hands-free if possible,
but when you go out, you want to take photos, bring souvenirs, or buy things.
But the design of bike gear generally sold…

Plus, if attachment and detachment are a hassle, usability suffers.
I understand it’s actually difficult to cover design, usability, and price all at once.
Until recently, I managed with a small tank bag,
but when I tried to bring a mirrorless camera, the tank bag reached its limit.

Then I noticed there was a category called seat bags and quickly ordered one.
Based on my experience using it, I wonder why I didn’t buy it sooner.

For people who think “I might have a bit more stuff sometimes,” it’s an incredibly useful item.
The price is affordable too, so having one is really convenient.

I’m amazed! It’s really great (*´ω｀*)

The design and material feel very simple and give a good impression.
Most importantly, it doesn’t have unnecessary features.

When there are lots of pockets you don’t use attached to it, it looks a bit uncool.

The bag itself has rigidity so it doesn’t collapse even when squeezed, maintaining a box shape.
What I really liked was the vertical-to-horizontal ratio.

I was looking for something that would fit perfectly on the tandem seat size.
With this size, I think it would work with most naked bike models.
Since I only have naked bikes, this seat bag is just right for me.

Even when I get off and carry it around, it doesn’t feel too out of place?

If I carried this around town all day, people would think I’m weird,
but walking around a parking lot after getting off seems totally fine.

It has handles and you can hold it sideways too.
The size is so good that you don’t need to bother attaching a shoulder strap.

Installation and removal are incredibly easy ♪

Remove the seat, spread it in four directions, place it on the seat, and you’re done.
There’s left-right and up-down orientation, so it’s good to tape it to make sure you don’t make a mistake.

The reason there are left and right sides is so you can lock them together with a click when not in use.
With naked bike models, there’s a possibility they might not reach, like with a Zephyr.

When not using it, remove the seat and take it off.

Removal is just four clicks, click, click, click.
With four attachment points, even if you forget one, it won’t fall off.
It’s a very safe design.

Tightening the belt is just a matter of pulling it—very simple.
When loosening, you just lift it slightly and it loosens, so it’s a well-designed system.

If you’re bothered by the extra belt, you can roll it up and secure it with velcro.
Of course, the velcro is sewn on, so it’s integrated.

The color looks grayish but it’s black.

There’s a bungee cord on top so you can quickly wedge something in.
The tightening is easy to operate too, which is appreciated.

Dimensions are written, but what you use it for depends on the person.

Honestly, I was surprised how much it holds.
Recently I need to carry
a mirrorless camera, Insta360 gear, a mobile battery, various spare batteries, cables,
and hand towels at minimum.
And if I also need to carry a rain jacket, I need about this much capacity.

This is from yesterday’s trip, so it’s less since it’s on the way back, but
two 1-liter iced coffees,
three 200g bags of coffee beans,
a mirrorless digital camera, & a 50mm lens,
a mobile battery, & an Insta360 (charging during travel),
all fit inside. *It was quite packed, but

with this much capacity, you can transport things quite comfortably.

This is what it looks like when photographed nicely in the store.
With this capacity, even if you throw things in messily, it’s totally fine.

I really felt this is a wonderful bag.

There’s a mesh pocket inside and a smaller mesh pocket on the outside.
A rain cover is also included, so you can feel secure even with recent sudden downpours.

The rain cover’s elastic is quite strong, so you might struggle a bit with installation.
However, it’s secure enough that it won’t blow away and get lost.

I bet a lot of people are getting the urge to buy one for some reason?

As the saying goes, “bigger doesn’t always mean better”—big is big, small is small, so use them according to your needs.

For someone like me who only does short rides, this could be the best bag possible.
