I’ve been moving cargo in between whenever I can (4th time) Surprisinglythe highway tolls and gas costs add up.
Well, since I want to do the move at my own pace, it’s somewhat unavoidable. Reallythe Aqua Line during Golden Week was a mess. The congestion was worse than expected. *Of course, I didn’t go. Since everyone has the same holidays, it’s somewhat inevitable but seeing it completely red with traffic jams until the date changedwas something I’d never seen before.
So with things like that, I can’t work right now, so I’m starting a moving blog.

Well, setting that aside. That day was really bad. It stayed completely red with traffic until the date changed from 5/4 to 5/5. Especially on the way back
roughlyfrom Kisarazu Kaneda to Kawasaki Ukishima took about 15 minutes. No matter how much traffic there is, it’s scary when it gets slower than walking.
Bonkure New Year Christmasit’s definitely better to stay away from the Aqua Line. Also, from experience, it’s generally better to cross the Aqua Line by 3 PM.

It’s technically a weekday on the calendar, but the world is in the middle of an 11-day holiday on Friday. The weather is unfortunately rainy. Thinking this was a good opportunity, I checked Google Maps and “blue = empty”I arrived in just under an hour and a half.
The rain is quite heavy, so there’s no way I can unload the cargo. The dilemma is whether to bring the car into the factory or not…
They said it’s fine to use normally, but“freshly painted is freshly painted” I was a bit concerned, but there was no way around it, so I brought it inside.
It’s nice to have a car fit inside the factory like this~
Since the car fits snugly inside, I had no trouble unloading the cargo.
This time I tried entering head-first and thought about how to use it best, which was a lot of fun. Since both the local roads and the Aqua Line were empty, I ended up making two round trips in one day.
I left in the morning, unloaded the cargo, and was back in Tokyo by noon. From there I went to eat tonkatsu, loaded up the cargo, went back to Chiba, and returned by 6 PM.
I was able to move things quite comfortably. I’ve moved things 4 times so far. Well, it looks like I’ll be done in another 4 to 5 trips, so it’s manageable. Really“If it had been a move to a place I couldn’t commute to, it would have been tough”I think to myself.
After all, the original planned relocation destination was“Toyama Prefecture”.
