I’m the type who tries not to do things I can’t do myself. Especially design—I absolutely won’t do it… I’ll just twist something that already exists and use it… I think that’s the safest approach.

I’m making a hat with a somewhat mysterious design. I like the character “ゐ” and paint it on the back of my helmet every time. Characters like “ゑ” are interesting too, so I quite like them.
We’re planning to release 11 of these hats as novelty items. (tentative) Since they’re all embroidered, I think they’ll have quite a lot of character… hopefully. The plan is for them to be navy with nice color variations.
This also takes quite a bit of time to coordinate and organize proposals.

Our Bizray breaks all the time because we use it beyond its limits. Bizray is just weak… I definitely think Japanese company products are better. The usability and design are simpler with Itoki. Plus this cabinet has wheels… I want to replace everything eventually…
Don’t you have a mailbox?
Right… we only just got internet connected the other day… The shop’s seal just arrived too “Ah~ this is what it was like when I first started a shop~”
But there’s incomparably more to do compared to when I started in a tenant space. So I found a mailbox that matches the shop’s atmosphere.
The same shape comes in“USA something-or-other~” versions with and without embossing, so be careful. I went with the simple “no embossing” option.
I used shearing to sandwich an aluminum plate (scrap! self-proclaimed 75) and mounted it on the wire mesh. It rattles a bit when you shake it, but… let’s see how it goes for now.
I have to arrange all these little details too. Since it’s my own property, I want to think about it carefully and make it look cool, you know?
