With the extreme weather these days, I think many people are having a tough three-day weekend. It’s important to think about it daily without assuming your area is safe!
And finally today I was able to start up the wet blaster. Well, I could have run it much earlier, but I decided to hold off until Z1R Season 1 was finished.
Beyond its size, I’m amazed by the wonderful finish. With this, work efficiency skyrockets & and the finish improves too.
The previous high-pressure washer had internal water leaks and was too large in size, so I replaced it with something more compact and clean this time.
After all, “Right angles and rectangles are justice” I want to live as much as possible within straight lines—is that just me?
Being a high-pressure washer, it has a solid weight of about 12.2 kg. The discharge pressure is around 7.5 MPa, so it’s quite powerful.
It fits perfectly under the outdoor IKEA sink, so it feels really satisfying. Actually, finding the high-pressure washer connection attachment took quite a bit of time.
I’ve made a lot of wasteful purchases trying different attachments (；∀；) There are surprisingly many dimensions in the world that you can’t know until the item arrives. *Though I’m just using what I bought as-is…
Having done wet blasting extensively before, I know you can’t achieve this shine at this speed.

Will the restore base crankcase come out clean?
It comes out terrifyingly clean, which is a bit shocking. Wet blasting seems quite effective on castings.
Rough, bumpy items like castings actually look cleaner. Smooth surfaces are harder to finish uniformly.
It cleans at an unbelievable speed, so it’s truly a wonderful tool. The time spent cleaning and polishing parts is quite labor-intensive.
If we can finish things quickly and beautifully, work progresses more efficiently. Since the parts are clean and sanitary, the person working on them can approach assembly with a fresh feeling. And if the finished machine is also beautiful, the vehicle owner will be happy too. If we incorporate restoration elements into small tasks like this, the machine will stay in good condition for longer.
I’ll customize the wet blaster to my liking as I use it
For now, given my height, it’s a bit low, so I’ll probably need a tall chair for sitting work.
The media doesn’t leak outside, but the media that accumulates on this edge bothers me. I need to do something about this area too.
Still, I’m genuinely impressed with this wonderful tool I’ve acquired. Having invested in equipment for my own workshop really pays off, so I think I can enjoy the work going forward.
