I can’t believe the domestic spec has gotten so expensive… Z2 (750RS) inspection – fork oil leak – checking for other seepage and oil changes, etc.

It’s a bit humid today, isn’t it?
Well, compared to that intense heat, it’s much cooler.
Out here in Sotobo, it gets pretty chilly in the mornings and evenings.

Today I’ll be checking for oil leaks and changing the oil.

I’ll shine a light and check each part.

It’s not the grommet on the dynamo cover, and while some oil can accumulate on the bolts
I can’t see anything at all right now… I’ll clean up each part and leave it for a bit.

The area around the air screw is all gunked up, so
if this accumulation is what’s dripping drop by drop, that would be nice

Just to be safe, I’ll also check inside the drive sprocket cover

Since I replaced the chain sprocket two years ago, there’s plenty of fresh grease accumulated.
Let me clean this area too and do a quick check.

Casually looking up, I suddenly noticed…
Oh! There’s a droplet on the tank! I got nervous thinking it might be fluid…
but it turned out to be paint clear coat (*´ω｀*)

Spark plug replacement – Watanabe, widen the gap

I always use a 1.2mm plate as a gap gauge (*´ω｀*)

Engine oil is Shell Advance 4T Ultra

I also replaced the oil filter as a set.
I’ll get the inspection passed this week and take it for a good ride to check for oil leaks.
