Nowadays it’s standard to have a flat L-shaped design.
You can lay it out at right angles to the terminal, making it perfect for reuse.
*This generation has terminals that are bent, so when using modern batteries you need to straighten them.

The main earth connection side is a lock coupler (standard nowadays).
Kawasaki Z-series bikes use spade terminals as standard. Reusing this improves safety.
