Halloween is coming up so fast, isn’t it? I wonder if Shibuya will be crazy again this year???
This is Decoboco, living in the countryside.

The other day I took in a TZR 250 3 XV for fluid exchange only, so I’ll get through this quickly.

Gear oil is definitely Yamalube!

Since the mileage hasn’t progressed much, it was in nice clean condition.

For cases where oil is difficult to pour in this direction
Motion Pro Pro Funnel (Professional Funnel) / YM08-0747

The oil inlet port moves around with a ball joint. Since it also has a cock, there’s no need to rush at all.
Recently it’s hard to find these in stock, so it’s a bit difficult to get one.

Coolant exchange was at 2 locations!

According to the service manual, you should also remove the drain on the head side.
I went ahead and drained it just to be safe.

This time I’m changing the hose clamp to Norma 20-32.
Modern hose clamps don’t have slits and use a convex method to tighten.
When there’s a slit, the flesh gets pinched and the hose clamp itself loses strength.

When replacing hose clamps, it’s good to choose ones without slits.

I also removed the reservoir tank and gave it a light cleaning.
Parts like this won’t last forever, so as motorcycles get older, you start worrying about more and more things.

Brake fluid is Golden Cruiser DOT4

It was in very clean condition, which was reassuring.

The battery is hidden under the seat like this.
It’s like a scooter-style battery, isn’t it?
I also replaced it with a Pro Select gel battery.

I also re-tightened the nutter on the frame side that was spinning!
That’s how it’s finished.
