I really think a heat gun should be cordless (*´ω｀*)
Being able to grab it and get to work right away is incredibly effective~
Basically, I use it for “inspection sticker removal and shrink tubing” about 90% of the time.
Motorcycle inspection stickers peel off beautifully when you warm them up.
Previously with 100V, I had to move the bike to where the cord reached.
Or use a cord reel.
With just one bike it’s manageable, but when you’re replacing stickers on multiple bikes, it becomes quite a hassle.
Honestly, just for removing inspection stickers, I’m so glad I bought this~
I also use it for wiring work and shrinking brake hose tubing.
For brake hose, since it’s a standalone component, 100V works just as well.
But when it comes to wiring work on the motorcycle frame, cordless is overwhelmingly superior.
You can move around the entire bike “without worrying about the cord” while working.
When not in use, “the heat gun stands up.”
This is incredibly useful.
Just these two points alone save considerable effort and time.
I always keep the temperature and air flow at maximum (;’∀’)
The included nozzles come in two types. For now, they’re more than sufficient. No complaints (;’∀’)
When you want to shrink tubing, using the curved nozzle is quick and easy.
For inspection stickers, you’d want to use no nozzle or the round nozzle.
I haven’t used it for extended periods,
so it may not be suitable for long continuous use.
But for someone like me who wants to
“peel off stickers in various spots here and there”
“shrink tubing while moving around,”
it’s perfect. I think it’s an item you won’t regret buying.
