Makita Disc Grinder GA418D

Following the heat gun, I’m going cordless with the disc grinder too.
Will it be good luck or bad luck…? Probably good.

Let me give you a brief explanation～(*´ω｀*)

I was somewhat prepared for this, but…

I was first surprised by the length…

Without battery +80MM
With battery +130MM

It’s quite rough, but… that’s about it.

The grinder I usually thought was heavy is about 1950g

Without battery 1830g
Since you won’t use it without a battery… with one it’s 2500g.
It’s at the edge of things, so it’s quite hyper.

Hyper helpful speed adjustment (*´з`)

This alone is good.

There’s no click feel. Can it go to 1.5 or something???

Wireless compatible with dust collector

I don’t use it myself, but I think this would make a lot of people happy???
We’ve really entered that kind of era now.

Standard disc locking type, not X-LOCK.

I haven’t researched this recently at all, so I didn’t know about X-LOCK.
Bosch developed it and it seems to be becoming quite widespread.

Since it’s battery-powered, the safety features are excellent? You can’t operate it without gripping a small lever. But that’s the only operation.

Switch OFF for automatic braking.

I tried it and this is really quite good.

You don’t need the grinder’s rotational aftereffect, right? It stops quickly with a myu~ sound, so you save a few seconds.
I felt the weight and length, but the benefits of speed adjustment and braking.
I was impressed by the safety design where it turns off when you let go of your hand.

I haven’t used it yet, but I think the usability is quite good.
