This is the perfect season for oil-cooled engines (and air-cooled ones too) (‘ω’)ノ
When you install the camshaft (ST-1) from the “Cam Cam Gokun?” into the 1200, I think you’ll finally get that “normal?” feeling.
The 1200 series inevitably feels sluggish from 4000 RPM onwards.
The tachometer and speedometer don’t sync very well—that’s the impression I get.
It’s that thing where you’re revving it but the speed doesn’t come up.
Well, you could say it’s unnecessary if you don’t rev it, but with this ST-1, the big impression is that everything becomes smooth from bottom to top.
It feels like it’s been optimized.
The bottom end doesn’t suffer, and it’s smooth all the way to the top～(*´з`)
Finally, that “normal?” feeling, you know.
There’s absolutely nothing finicky about maintenance or usage conditions.
Admittedly, it can be tough if you just let it idle around, but that’s the same with the stock cam.
Suzuki genuine parts went up in price the other day, didn’t they?

I’ve already got mine, of course. I’m thinking I’ll do some output measurements before installing it…
