Ever since I bought the Inazuma 1200 this year, I’ve been riding it like crazy (*’▽’)
Maybe it’s the rebound from COVID, or something like that.
And the Inazuma 1200—well, it’s a bit lacking, or rather quite a bit lacking—but that oil-cooled 1200 is actually what makes it interesting.
But now that I’m riding it, I realize…
Motorcycles sure do cost a lot of money ( ；∀；)
I went to an exhibition and had some photos taken~
Just the gear alone is a hassle…(*´з`)
Helmet, jacket, gloves, and boots are the bare minimum.
Once you start getting into things like balaclavas and arm covers, it gets really complicated.
Isn’t it nice to have gear that looks cool and lasts a long time?

Choosing luggage for riding a motorcycle is surprisingly tricky.
A waist pouch is a bit scary for me.
I get this constant anxiety about whether I actually zipped it closed.
So it’s either a tank bag or a backpack. Maybe pockets after that…
But lately I’ve been doing photo shoots, so I’m like an old guy carrying a ton of stuff—power banks, cables, and all that—including Gatsby.
Gas prices are insanely high (*´з`)
The recent price hikes are ridiculous.
Highway tolls are the same, but with ETC you don’t feel the pain as much…
And with gas on a card, you don’t feel it either…
When you think about it, I’m actually spending quite a bit of money…
Each outing costs about 3,000 yen (gas, highway tolls, Starbucks?).
But I think it’s worth it.
Hot in summer, cold in winter. It’s a harsh machine.
But lately, the hardships I don’t usually feel have turned into something I can enjoy and experience.
Fire up the engine, slip it into first, engage the clutch, and adventure?
When I ride after a long time, I remember a lot of things.
I need to make sure I don’t end up with a headline like “middle-aged rider can’t lean into corners”…
