Here we go! (´ρ`)
After a few months of sitting on the back burner, and with the daily curveballs finally settling down,
we’re moving forward.
We’re starting with the fabrication work I’m not so comfortable with (‘ω’)ノ
The single-seat cowl removal is… terrible.
It’s so stuck that you practically have to force it off.
So…
I cut away the unused brackets that were holding this tandem seat area in place.
The rear will come off, so I’ll clean it up a bit more and paint it later.
I was so curious about what this boss was for…
I spent an hour…
only to find out it was just for fixing the rider seat.
It’s quite a sharp design, but it’s being retired ( ；∀；)
I made it box-shaped so the license plate, tail light, and everything else can be mounted securely and solidly.
I made this area longer because we’re planning to expand it.
If it’s not needed, we can just cut it and radius it.
This is how I made it box-shaped.
It’s 100% unbreakable and built solid, so it’s heavy…
I wonder how much actual use all those aluminum fenderless kits flooding the market are designed for… or maybe they’re not thinking about it at all. (゜_゜>)
