Whether it’s output or performance, I think there’s always this hunger for more.
“Could it taste even better?” or “Could it look even cooler?”
Once you get a taste of it, you’re hooked for life.
A design that lets you enjoy change is s-o-o-o nice
A design that says “nothing else allowed!” is pretty tough for me personally.
When you think about it, I believe manufacturers design motorcycles with efficiency and customization in mind.
Because muffler brackets and passenger pegs are detachable, it’s easy to make changes in the aftermarket.
Bikes in the classic category have brackets welded right onto the frame pipes, you know.
If you want to make adjustments, you have to cut! Otherwise you’re stuck, and if there’s an accident or crash, recovery is a hassle.
If you pay attention to the silencer insertion diameter, angle, and spring hook position, you’ll have more flexibility down the road (‘;’)
I like bikini fairings because changing things up is so easy.
I love naked bikes with clip-on bars and round headlights.
Since I get bored easily, I actually enjoy changing things up by adding and removing fairings.
I’ve had the silly idea of designing a bracket that would let any upper fairing work with a 180mm round headlight.
The joy of riding and the joy of looking at your bike are both huge, so if you take care of those aspects, the fun will last a lot longer (*’ω’*)
