Installing this meter… I wonder if I want to do something when I buy a motorcycle.
Maybe the fun part is thinking about it.
Let me pull out some customization ideas~(*^-^*)
For example, if I bought a used motorcycle I wanted.
The choices vary depending on what I want to use it for.
For daily commuting, I’d swap out the tires, brake discs, and pads to my preference at minimum. The chain depends on its condition.
Next, the fluids.
Even if the engine oil, fluids, and coolant are already changed, I’d replace them for peace of mind.
Then I’d polish out scratches with compound and buff it to a shine with Plexus to complete the first stage.
A motorcycle frame is one size.
You can’t change the size, so adjusting it to your preferred position is a good move.
I go in this order: handlebar, handlebar post, steps, seat.
Machined parts have almost no adjustment range, so I lock those in first.
Using the seat, which is the most flexible, to fine-tune the balance at the end minimizes mistakes.
You won’t know what riding position you prefer until you try different ones.
The steps sold commercially aren’t necessarily the best for you.
If you just keep adding parts blindly, the flavor gets way too strong.
Adding and subtracting, starting with low cost and testing things out to feel the difference, makes it more rewarding.
“What’s good for others is often not good for you.”
This happens a lot, so I think it’s better to take it as reference rather than gospel.
The same goes for news and newspapers…
Thinking and deciding for yourself might be the most fun part.
But going with the flow is easier and thoughtless, isn’t it…( *´艸｀)
