People do have a weakness for limited editions, don’t they?
Local limited editions, 1,000-unit limited runs, limited-time releases, and so on.
I’ve been keeping you waiting. I’d get it done faster, but I only have two hands.
Let’s get started.
The other day the exhaust sound was so off that I borrowed it for content.
Thank you all for the loving likes as always.
I’ve balanced the carburetors.

Hmm, that sidestand is angled like a 900ss. I think it puts extra stress on the sidestand base.
It bothered me, so I added a stopper.

I sheared and TIG welded it.

I check the wheel size and cross-reference it with the tire size.

The front and rear are close in age, which is nice. You shouldn’t worry too much about dates and such. *Anything too old is… well…
Worrying too much is kind of like buying milk from the back of the shelf—similar spirit, or maybe not.

Let’s clean the chain, lubricate it, and clean the inside of the swingarm too.

The hub damper and bearings are in good condition.
The wheel and tire runout are no problem.

I actually like this MOS caliper—it’s rugged.
I haven’t had much personal work lately, but if I get a chance to use a caliper swap, this is one I’d like to use.
Somehow Sponden or AP’s monoblock CP3485-8SO/9SO reminds me of it, though maybe I’m the only one who thinks so? What do you think?
Oh, and the operation is excellent.

I’ll continue tomorrow (‘ω’)ノ
