A subtly warm year-end.

The year-end feeling seems a bit thin this year. Don’t you think so?
When people come by to greet us on the weekend, I think “Oh, it really is year-end!”

Ah, paper bags, year-end gifts—so grateful, so grateful. I’m looking forward to enjoying them deliciously. ☆

When available, we use FCC clutches.

With modern friction material processing, they should be quite good.

The OEM probably isn’t the same as it was back then, but we expect it to maintain its current state—that’s FCC.

Something I always wonder about: the same part number nut, the mating shaft diameter is also identical.
Why is the tightening torque different?

GSX-R1100W

We use this nut.
• 09159-24008 = 8 mm width
• 09159-24010 = 10 mm width
GSX-R1000, GSF1200, Bandit 1200, GSX1400, and others

Looking at the manual…
I find myself thinking, the same nut but different tightening torques
Once something catches my attention, I can’t let it go. Ever happen to you?

• 09159-24008 = 8 mm width
GSF1200: 88 Nm
GSX-R1100W: 140–160 Nm

• 09159-24010 = 10 mm width
GSX-R1000: 95 Nm
GSX1400: 90 Nm
GSF1200, Bandit 1200: 150 Nm

Doesn’t that come to about 1.5 times the difference?
Following the manual means it’s the manufacturer’s responsibility, I suppose.

I noticed Honda’s nuts are super cool, and I thought it would be nice if we could use them.
I got a bit sidetracked looking into it.

Manuals are interesting, aren’t they? It might be time for video format soon. What do you think?
