Let’s steam-clean the brake dust and dry it right away.
Work that feels like it washes away worldly desires—cleaning the disc holes. We always wet them and work carefully with a rag behind. Still, there sure are a lot of holes…
Finally, complete degreasing with brake cleaner. Brake discs are surprisingly dirty. After cleaning, they don’t grip as well, so we’ll bed them in again.
We don’t recommend dragging during brake bedding. It’s heat and cool, heat and cool for both pad and disc.
Crisp and sharp now. We’ve made sure the wheel comes off easily.
