The float gasket is hard and brittle, but fortunately it hasn’t deteriorated too badly.
The rubber on the hose joint is falling apart too—well, it’s been quite a few years.
At this point, every vacuum carburettor from the 20th century probably needs to be completely disassembled.
I’ll skip some details, but you can see this much difference between before and after.
Even with the same overhaul, we believe that achieving a beautiful appearance and better performance allows owners to keep and care for their bikes longer.
