In this era, the rectifier (AC to DC converter) and regulator (voltage control) are separate units. When they become one, there are extra wires, so we remove the unnecessary ones.

Liquid batteries emit dilute sulfuric acid gas and fluid, so they’re not very welcome. The Shorai BT is lightweight, maintenance-free, and holds a charge well.
