
NGC “New Generation Classic”
What do I look at first? I wonder who designed this logo? I find myself viewing products from different angles and perspectives.

No matter when I look at it, the soul resides in these fine details. It’s not just a matter of hanging it up and calling it done. The small details are beautiful too.
I find myself thinking things like, the parallelogram patch is nice.

This organic exhaust really suits an air-cooled engine.

The barely perceptible taper is refined.

Before installation, it’s reassuring to protect it this way.
Protecting it creates an escape route—if it gets scratched, sorry about that!

Install the carburettor and balance the synchronization.

On older bikes, the cap is a tricky spot. I check the configuration and try to make it as easy to remove as possible.

Checking the fuel path and confirming it flows is a given.
If fuel won’t flow, you can easily end up in a real mess, so it’s critical to get this right.

Recently popular: fuel supply from the right side. Because of the sidestand, doesn’t fuel flow faster from right to left? Also, the farther the hose layout is from the petcock, the longer it can be and the easier it is to disconnect.

Since we can’t go back, I’m not changing the hole diameter, but it differs between the R1100 and GSF. I’m still working on it considering the spring tension.
In Tokyo you can’t open the throttle at all, so it’s frustrating… to be continued.
