The original uses this kind of locking mechanism. That consideration for safety—so it won’t come loose—means that a simple crimp without the proper tool is problematic.
It’s ended up like this, but there are traces of the harness being handled carelessly here and there. This time it’s just a temporary fix, so caution is needed.
When there’s a pin, you don’t clamp and fix it. Please don’t file down the pin. I’ve installed a wood screw as a temporary measure.
