Let’s synchronize the carburetors. Due to the design, they always drift out of sync, so there’s no need to be obsessive about it, but when they’re matched, it feels really nice.

They were barely out of sync, so they must have been adjusted before.

The ignition coil has a specified type, so it’s best to follow that.

It’s hard to see, but this coil has + and − markings embossed on the inside of the flat terminals. The top one is orange/white (ON 12V).

Sorry for the terrible blur. Everything looks sooty, so it’s worth paying attention to.

The air filter was in good condition.
This Deco-mainte work surprisingly takes 6 to 7 hours and is quite demanding.
We’re constantly learning how to improve performance by even 1 mm on vehicles that aren’t broken or damaged.
There are many things we don’t convey through images or text, and we work with the mindset that by befriending the play and misalignment, cleaning and lubrication will make things run better, so I think we’re seeing subtle improvements.
After a test ride, the work is complete.
