Finishing up yesterday’s remaining work. We’ll be replacing the rear wheel bearing.
We measured the distance collar and placed it inside the wheel—the feeling is subtly like a “time capsule.”
The rear is definitely harsher than the front. The oil is blowing off a bit, and the hub bearing has quite a bit of play.
That’s probably inevitable when the chain is pulling it around like that.
What’s left is oil-cooled maintenance, the inspection, and an oil change. We’ll continue next week ☆
We’ll put it on hold for now since we’ve reached a good stopping point.
