If the engine hanger had been positioned properly, it could have been installed without doing something like this.
If it’s secured with a nut, I think caution is needed.
The bolt won’t fit, so the threads have been stripped and turned into an elongated hole—a disappointing finish.
One side is done with a helicoil insert.
The other side has been removed,
and a nut is welded on, then sprayed to finish. A square nut would have been perfect, but there’s simply no demand for it, so I didn’t have one on hand.
