Even if it hardens! Check the bubbles with a clear hose
Since it’s a 2-stroke engine, it probably won’t get that hot, so it shouldn’t overflow but a clear fuel breather hose is easier to check. Being able to visually confirm things is surprisingly important (*´ω｀*)
I regularly use the 91856 PVC hose sold by Daytona (*´ω｀*)
Silicone bands were also excellent for clamping the hose
The other day’s Amazon silicone bands are convenient for fixing the hose. The silicone stretches and fits perfectly, so you can keep the hose without squashing it too much. Also, since the base can be fixed to the hose side, attachment and detachment are smooth.
Truly wonderful silicone bands! The only thing I’m curious about is how durable they are, but in terms of function and price, they’re truly a wonderful item.
This time I didn’t make a special bracket Oni Pita + Repeat Tie fixed it.
Since it’s for an oil catch tank, the hose doesn’t fit directly, so I modified just the lid part. I inserted the hose near the bottom and it enters from the bottom and overflows from the top in that fashion. I added a bit too much, so I reduced it to less than half.

The RG 500 Gamma appears to have 2 gear oil drain plugs, front and rear. I’ll make sure to drain it completely and change the gear oil. Since Suzuki genuine gear oil is no longer sold, I’ll use Yamaha’s.
If it’s a 2-wheel gear oil, I think it’s fun to experience the differences in oil viscosity and feel things like shift feel and heat sag.
You come across situations where you think “there’s no way you can put it there!” Plus, there are often situations where the hole diameter is small or recessed, and just pouring oil can be a headache.
This Motion Pro oil funnel is quite excellent. Most notably, the oil pouring spout tip is curved and furthermore tapered. The attachment part is a ball joint for flexibility. Plus, it even has a cock so you can pour it in little by little.
Plus, it has measurement markings which is appreciated. It’s a really nice item that covers various situations.
The exchange rate has caused quite a price increase. When you think about it, that’s when you should buy! That’s how I feel these days.
Headlight is definitely LED! NOVSIGHT is reliable
The headlight layout is so tight that you can’t replace the bulb without removing the headlight itself. Since all the exterior parts were already off, I went ahead and replaced it.
Now it’s safe at night, and it’s also a very excellent item as a daytime running light

By the way, there’s a similar genuine Suzuki part. 09125-06045 Screw (6X14) This is a part used in market racers like the RM. I used to use this a lot back in the day. Current price is 1100 yen!! One piece! Just one! It’s not easy to use at all.
Kitaco is about 400 yen for 2 pieces!!! It’s at a level where you could buy in bulk.
The head has a diameter of 20mm, so even if used on cowls, it holds gently. It’s good to put a large POM washer on the inside.
Don’t ever put rubber in there because you don’t want to scratch the cowl. If you do put rubber, you need to use a stepped bolt or insert a sleeve, otherwise the clamping isn’t effective and it will loosen quickly.
Just choosing a few small materials makes the finish look subtly neater, I think. So with that, it’s just creating an invoice and we’re done. Thank you for your patience!
