We already got the tire and handlebar done last night!
All that’s left is the HID and caliper, so I thought we’d be done by morning—way too optimistic

There are traps if you don’t look carefully, so watch out.
The main unit has “+−” markings, but
the extension side doesn’t, and moreover
it works both ways, reversible too★
The HID apparently puts out quite a bit of noise.
You’d need to measure it with a noise tester or something, but we don’t have one of those,
so keeping it as far as possible from electronic equipment like meters is the key to preventing trouble.
Plus the HID wears out, so making it easy to replace is kind to yourself.
With the mesh cover it looks nice and clean.
