Hello everyone! The hot days just keep going on.
Here in Chiba, there aren’t many shaded areas, so it’s a bit rough, but the weather is nice (*´ω｀*)

So I had accumulated WEBIKE points, and
I finally got the DH-722 seat bag in a larger size (*´ω｀*)Woohoo!

By the way, this seat bag has been on sale for quite a while, so it’s not a new product.

This time, the DH-722 (7-12L) has adjustable capacity, so the bag body doesn’t have much tension and tends to be thinner.
At first glance, the DH-710 (7L) looks like it has more volume.

When you mount them like this, you can see the difference in length.
But I thought it might look a bit odd, and honestly it doesn’t bother me at all.

The DH-710, which fits the length of the tandem seat section, looks sleeker.

The DH-722 can change its capacity with side zippers.
This is a really helpful feature.
Visually, it looks like the height increases by about 1.5 times.

So, how much different is the capacity really?

Simply put, the DH-710 fits right inside it, so it has that much capacity.
With this amount of capacity, “you can casually make spontaneous purchases,” which is really appreciated.

Since I’ve been living in the countryside lately, “I want to buy alcohol in town and bring it home,” and I’ve been struggling with that.
The DH-710 could fit two bottles of wine and some light groceries, but
it was pretty tight, so I wanted to improve that.

This bag has no other storage compartments—just a mesh pocket on the lid.

Surprisingly, the DH-710’s EASY RING BELT wasn’t compatible

This was a bit of a miscalculation… I never thought they’d change the belt.
If the belt were compatible, I could just swap the bag and have the perfect setup, but apparently not.

The DH710 is free for larger sizes, while the DH-722 becomes rigid at smaller sizes.
These EASY RING BELTs come in three types: N25/N25A/N25B, so you’ll want to be careful.

That said, you can just remove the seat, so it’s not really a big deal.

Visually a small difference, but “this capacity difference is significant”

Now I can take camera gear on short trips and bring home purchases from town.
Plus, it doesn’t compromise the look of the naked bike, which is a big plus.

I don’t use it myself, but
“it also comes with a shoulder strap,” so moving around is easier.

This seat bag is really easy to attach, detach, and adjust the straps, so I’m getting a lot of use out of it.
This is way better than using a touring net to secure cargo…
