VFR750F Clutch Cylinder Overhaul

So there’s been some oil seeping out★
The investigation got bigger,
and we wondered if it might be the countershaft seal…
But that’s not common, and if it leaks you’d have to split the case to replace it,
so I took it apart and checked the other day—the clutch release, or whatever you call it?
 

 
All crusty and corroded!!
 

 
Hmm, yeah…
It’s less corrosion and more like the seal has gone all soft and mushy.
Yamaha bikes tend to have this kind of leak pretty often.
I polished it and replaced the seals, so if it still leaks, go with an assembly.
I’m starving.
Time to head home.
