I’ve been using circulators for over a decade and have tried various models. Of course, I use them until the motor breaks.
The most important things are “easy to clean” & “automatically oscillates” My long-time Vornado finally gave up, so I went shopping for a new circulator.
There are so many circulators on the market it’s a bit surprising when you look again after a while.
However, if you focus only on “easy to clean” & “automatically oscillates,” the options aren’t that limited. The Rhythm “Silky Wind Circulator” I bought this time scored a perfect 30 out of 30 in every way. If you’re thinking about getting a circulator, I think it’s worth considering.
“Rhythm” isn’t a brand you hear much about in circulator circles. I ordered one with a mix of skepticism and cautious optimism.
Indeed, it excelled in both function and design, and the price was reasonable, so it was an instant buy.
The new dark gray color is excellent! Since we use it in the factory and it gets super dirty, “a dark color is the best” for us.

Disassembly is extremely easy! Of course, no tools needed—it comes apart smoothly.
You can take it apart this easily, so cleaning is a breeze. If it’s not this easy to disassemble, you won’t feel like cleaning it.
Good serviceability is justice in everything.
The outer fins can be removed by sliding them. Since the front and back sizes are different, they’ve thoughtfully marked the circles differently —that’s nice attention to detail.
The fin lock uses reverse threads. Hold the blade with one hand and turn clockwise to remove it.
If I had to describe it with onomatopoeia, click-click = spin twice = pop off
—it comes apart that smoothly, which is really appreciated.
The main body is also designed for easy cleaning. It’s rare to find a product designed with this much consideration for the user.
I looked at various circulators recently, and some expensive ones can’t be disassembled. Such products do exist. From the manufacturer’s perspective, they want customers to replace them on a regular cycle to keep selling.
From the user’s perspective, we want to use them carefully for as long as possible. These conflicting desires are genuinely difficult in today’s world.
Quality construction! It’s not cheap-looking—something you can love.
I think things you keep around should be well-designed and functionally adequate. “It looked cool in the photos” happens all the time, right?
This Rhythm “Silky Wind Circulator” has both excellent design and quality feel—I think it’ll be an item you can really love.
It transcends the circulator concept! Truly a next-generation pistol-style design.
It’s nice enough just oscillating left and right, but you can also manually adjust the up-and-down direction. And you can adjust the oscillation angle too. Balmuda has this setting as well, but I prefer Rhythm’s angle-based approach.
Plus it has a timer and even a clothes-drying mode—it’s a circulator with everything you could want.
The structure is so simple I don’t think it’ll break easily. If you’re considering a circulator, definitely check this out. I’m sure you’ll think it’s really great.
These types of products are seasonal, so stock might move quickly as the season approaches. I liked it so much I ordered a second one.
