Well, hello everyone (*´ω｀*) Things have calmed down quite a bit, and I’m feeling a lot more relaxed.
That said, once next month rolls around, I’ll be back in crunch mode, but I thought I’d take a little break and write a blog post to clear my head.
Just yesterday I “Try not to put things on the ground!” I wrote that. I used to put things on the ground myself and found it inconvenient. After all, I have “specialty tools and materials” packed into boxes, which makes them really heavy. But by putting a flat-bed cart underneath, “I can roll heavy items over to wherever I need them,” “and it’s so much easier to clean underneath.”
There’s nothing but super benefits to this. Muji’s flat-bed cart is ridiculously affordable, so definitely grab one before Golden Week.
I think the world pretty much shuts down for about a week to ten days during Golden Week. Things start moving after Golden Week, so I need to make sure I have all the tools I need now.
I want to prepare everything in Tokyo first and just set it up later. I really hate doing everything at the last minute and being all frazzled.
These carts can be linked together and stacked
You can stack them up to four high, and if you match the grooves and protrusions, they won’t fall off when stacked. It’s also great for storage when you’re not using them. *I plan to use them in place once I buy them, but just in case…
You can also link them together like this depending on the shape. However, this requires that the ground be flat and level.
Depending on how you think about it, you can use them for all sorts of things. I usually connect up to two of them and load heavy items on them. *Weight capacity up to 80 kg.

You can put them under desks and slide stored items out like drawers. This way, the effective floor area increases.
Plus, you can get to work and clean up faster, which is incredibly time-saving and satisfying. The shop interior also becomes simpler and cleaner, making it easier to sweep.
I use them to take advantage of all the dead space like this. Putting them under tables and such is probably the most efficient way.
And again, the weight capacity is 80 kg. I sometimes do sketchy things like loading an engine on one and moving it around.
I also put one under the wet blaster unit. Since the area around it tends to get covered in media, being able to move it makes cleaning so much easier.

Organization and tidying up become really fun once you get into it. After all, you get tangible results, which is incredibly appealing.
You often find yourself wondering why you didn’t do this sooner. It saves so much time, after all.
