The long-awaited Brembo brake master overhaul has finally come back. I was a bit worried it might not come back at all.
It’s the end of the fiscal year, so everyone’s probably busy with the new fiscal year preparations. Still, the weather today was strange. It was snowing pretty hard this morning, and by afternoon it was completely dry—a weird feeling.
In the end, the package arrived and we could get the work done, so that’s good. If it had been sunny, I was planning to go to Fujikin today. So let me give you a quick report.
I kind of thought, “Maybe they didn’t like it because I made the hose joint straight?” It’s probably just that everyone’s busy with the end of the fiscal year.
Time passes, we bled the air and finished installation.
We replaced most of the steel bolts with new ones. We wet-blasted the master tank bracket and other parts to clean them up, and replaced the fluid hose with a new one as well.
We overhauled the caliper and master, so the brake feel is really solid now.
