OEM part number 54711-17C00 (17C10) equivalent. GSF1200/GSX-R1100K/Bandit 1200 up to K5/GS1200SS/GSX-R750J&K In short, just remember it’s for upright forks. *Inazuma 1200 won’t work, but it can be installed if you machine the bottom case.
It fits perfectly like this. You could think of it as a compatible part for OEM components.
By the way, here’s what it looks like with an inverted long installed.
By the way, with an inverted forkOEM part number 54711-17D00 (it’s a bit hard to see at first glance—it’s a D). With this part number, the shaft overall length becomes 10 millimeters longer. As shown in the image above, it sticks out 5 millimeters on each side.
When it’s like this an inverted long is being usedso watch out for that.
A hidden gem—a step kit that makes riding even more fun!
It subtly makes riding easier. Most bikes surprisinglyfeel more comfortable lower in frontI think.
Taking into account your body type, riding style, and use case when choosing parts is the way to go. Since parts like this don’t sell in huge numbers it wouldn’t be surprising if they got discontinued anytime.
The design is simple and really beautiful. When the undercarriage gleams, the bike instantly looks younger.
Magtank JB-2 (custom size) rear 4.50-17
The front brake disc is large so it’s hard to see well. I kept the wheel size the same as stock front and rear.
Tire selection is subtly abundant and you won’t have trouble finding options going forward. What you notice right away on a test ride is how light the wheels are. Both pushing and riding feel like you’ve switched from dress shoes to sneakers—there’s a real sense of nimbleness.
Combined with the wheel size, it becomes pleasantly agile and the ride feel makes you wonder if it’s a 400cc. It’s a bit niche, but it’s easy to handle and felt like a really good choice.
The front brake disc is BO so it’s back home for now.
Since the bike was so clean, I did a thorough job with masking for the test ride. All done! (*´ω`*)
