We are no longer accepting bookings for this year. Please consider scheduling from mid-February of next year onward.

The parts have arrived, so let’s get them installed. (Today is fabrication day.)

I might be spending more time thinking about it than actually making it.
• I don’t want to make a mistake during fabrication.
• Installation can’t be a hassle.
• It shouldn’t interfere with future maintenance work.
• I want to keep the design as simple as possible.
• It’s better if it doesn’t break from vibration or other wear.

Does it look clean, simple, and cohesive?

Cut out SUS304 stainless steel with precision.

After bending, I kept the final cutout light.

Installing aftermarket parts without cutting corners creates unity and avoids looking out of place.

The unfortunate thing about the Inazuma 1200 oil-cooled Katana: the seat is held down with butterfly bolts.
Just switching to a seat lock makes things so much easier.
This time it’s version 2.

The rear fender holds the seat lock in place. I used an existing hole and fabricated this plate.

Now you can loosen it from the back and remove the seat—a reassuring setup.
I tightened it once in this state and got a bit worried for a moment…
Next is fixing the release knob, oil change, wiring, and caliper cleaning to finish.
Let’s do it tomorrow.
