The fork and stem corrections have come back, so let’s move forward.

It got lightly bumped into a street tree, so it needed repair. The inner tube that bent pretty badly is fixed up nicely. As always, it’s amazing—really.

The stem that got bent out of shape is also corrected. It actually heals… even though it’s welded as one piece with the stem… I’m moved.

Sorry for the sudden underside shot. This piece broke off…

We won’t attack the dent at the root. With the mindset of a dental technician, we’ll fit and grind it, then prepare by cutting a deep bevel.

We weld it up and it’s done. Sorry for the over-burn again.
*The lines on the boss are not cracks, so please don’t worry.

We’ll seal NC100 grease into the stem bearing and assemble it.

We weren’t sure if 36φ would fit since we don’t see it often, but it does exist.
Oil seals are standard specification parts, so if the outer diameter, inner diameter, and width match, we can use them.

Once assembled, we’ll bleed air, adjust the oil level, and the fork is complete.

???

Was it last time or this time? Hmm. I hate cast aluminum.
Leaving it like this… isn’t good, right?

We’ll grind, tap it into perfect alignment, cut a deep bevel with a rotary tool, and build it up.

Sorry for the usual sputtering appearance.

???Direct battery?

HID??
The tight headlight area is confusing…
It’s finally starting to take shape.
