Oil-cooled maintenance work requested.

Only now did I realize the O-rings are different… so maybe that’s why one part of the cover is different? That’s what I thought… but I’m not going to dig into it.

Since we don’t remove it very often, let’s give it a good cleaning.

The generator damper condition wasn’t bad.

The generator connector is a spot you should check on occasionally.
Corrosion leads to poor electrical contact, which leads to melting.

The engine damper wear isn’t severe either.

The case side is in nice condition.

It’s corroded quite sharply in places.

The later-model engine damper isn’t a through-bolt type, which is convenient.
