This bubble-style lens cover is really great!
It’s a piece we picked up on Yahoo Auctions back in the day, maker unknown.
The inspection wrapped up smoothly, and we’re going to look into the USB not working issue.
From the front, it looks like this.
I wonder if a front cover (a plate without the lens-shaped cutout) would fit?
The power supply was a bit sketchy, so we cleaned it up with an optional power tap.
When you run power and ground in parallel, it keeps things neat.
We did get it to detect 5V, but the USB itself seems unstable.
The optional power tap is routed around the left neck area, so we’re keeping an eye on it.
