When the cowl involves modifications like drilling holes, don’t you find yourself in quite a predicament?
With something you’ve made, you can always remake it, but…
“Oh no!” …(‘ω’) You’ve had that experience, right? I certainly have.
I’ve learned from drinking bitter tea and swallowing hard pills. I could refuse such jobs and be done with it quickly, but…
For now, I’ve converted the underside to fasteners.

I’ve done the rear left and right connections like this.

I’ve used push rivets for the anti-rotation. (Easy to remove here too?)

I’m dealing with the “breakage” series.
We’ve got a pretty unreasonable layout here… this is going to break.

I welded the broken spot and reinforced it with a SUS304 round bar.

Recently, I switched to the trendy AGM gel battery (Pro battery).
If you always put a sponge in the nuts, the workability is excellent.
*I’m using leftover sponge from a Shorai battery (‘ω’)ノ

I changed the coolant and swapped the radiator cap to the usual NTK.

For the oil change this time, I went with NC50 10W-50.
I took a close look at the OEM oil filter. Square O-rings… so it’s not just Harley! O-rings have better reliability.

I changed the brake fluid to Golden Cruiser DOT 4.

The DUCATI throttle is… the Suzuki-style convex type. It’s incredibly tedious.
I rough it out on the lathe and then it’s all hand work.
Now I’m waiting for an answer. (ΦωΦ)
