That’s super rare.
So that’s why I’m taking apart the fork.
The fork oil had quite a fragrant smell to it (*´ω｀*)
There’s some light surface rust on the inner tube, but since it’s not in the stroke area, we’ll call it good.
After finishing on the lathe, I checked for runout. No issues, so it’s reusable (*´ω｀*)
I cleaned it once more, wiped it down, and reassembled it (*´ω｀*)
Not many people came by today, so progress is slow…
I removed the brake disc for degreasing and cleaning.
The wheel lifter is extremely convenient (*´ω｀*)
It’s not really a tool for people who want to work quickly, but rather for those who want to “remove and install wheels cleanly, smartly, and without scratches.” I’d recommend it for shops with lots of customers who have nice bikes~
