The O-ring on the knob in the image and the lotus-like rubber gasket are critical.
If this tension isn’t firm, gasoline leaks and seepage tend to occur.
Considering this, the fuel cock knob has fairly strong spring tension, which is why the movement feels stiff.
I personally bend the spring that goes in front of the knob slightly to adjust and weaken the tension.
If you overdo it, you’ll get gasoline seepage, so be careful.
Also, some fuel cocks can’t be adjusted this way, so please note that.
After replacing the O-ring and adjusting the spring tension, it moves smoothly now.
Even old OEM fuel cocks can still be used if small parts are supplied.
