The Ducati 900 SS has such a nice design and the feel when you ride it is really pleasant. I’ve always had that feeling of wanting to own one at least once.
I’ve even fantasized about buying a 916 back in the day, dropping in a 1000 DS engine, and taking it easy on the road with a negative-pressure carburetor. That kind of daydream has crossed my mind. Some shop apparently did something like that in the past, and it seems to have been quite the hassle, so we decided against it due to time constraints. I thought maybe I could do it after moving to Chiba, but it’s already not in a state where I can buy one at a reasonable price.
Anyway, I got sidetracked there, but let’s get to work.
The oil level seemed quite low. I’d guess there was probably less than a liter in there… We’ll need to keep an eye on things going forward.
We did a complete brake fluid exchange.
We use CCI’s Golden Cruiser brake fluid. It’s an excellent brake fluid that considers performance, durability, and lubricity, and it’s also easy on the wallet.
Just hearing the name CCI makes it feel like the brake feel has improved somehow. CCI Metal Rubber, you know? (*´ω｀*)
After that, we just need to do the inspection and we’re done.
