( ,,`･ω･´)ﾝﾝﾝ? It’s not in stock. That’s when I realized the problem. I was able to buy it from the Quad Lock website, so I ordered it from there. Well, sure, even with the same iPhone 13, there are versions like “Mini, Pro, Max,” so manufacturers don’t keep making them forever. Right now only the Pro is being sold. It looks like it’s been discontinued. I hadn’t considered that while you keep your phone for a long time, manufacturers don’t keep making cases for it. If you’ve got an older smartphone that’s mag-compatible and you’re a Quad Lock fan, you might want to grab one quick.

It’s almost completely flat, like a thin membrane. How do they do it? I can’t figure it out. And I have to say, Quad Lock cases are really tough. The body is polycarbonate, so it’s incredibly resistant to impact and chemicals. I’ve been using mine hard at work for about three years now and it hasn’t deformed at all.
I often hear people say their cases have warped, but usually it’s just the inner edge—which has a shape like a tire bead—that’s come loose. With Quad Lock cases, it’s better to remove them from the top and bottom corners. That’s the way to go.

When I go outside lately, I often want to fix my smartphone on a tripod to shoot video or take photos.
Given the portability and convenience, I chose this gimbal. Honestly, I spent about a month agonizing over whether to buy it…
Why did I agonize so much? Well… “I bought it and it turned out not to be suited for how I actually wanted to use it.” Have you ever had that experience? You open it, it’s basically brand new, but it’s not practical. Selling it on Mercari or Yahoo Auctions is a hassle. And finding something else is also a hassle.
You really have to think carefully from the start about how you’re going to use something before you can finally buy it. I checked YouTube and instructional videos, and it “looks so easy to use.” But that’s true of everything— “it only looks easy because they know how to use it.” First you have to figure out what you actually need and adjust your usage accordingly.
Anyway, I got sidetracked, but the point is I wanted to use this gimbal, so I went looking for a mag case and found it was in danger of being discontinued. I thought about buying another one before they’re gone… but honestly, the battery’s been getting weak lately, so should I upgrade? But functionally, the 13 Pro is still plenty…
