Vehicle: Kawasaki Z750FX-1 (D2/D3)
Issue: The header exhaust and stock drain bolt interfere with each other, requiring exhaust removal every time for an oil change—quite inconvenient.
Solution: Modify the oil pan (or replace it with a modified unit) and relocate the drain bolt to a position that doesn’t interfere with the exhaust.
Result: Oil changes can now be performed smoothly with the exhaust still attached, dramatically improving maintainability.

The oil pan gets wet blasted for a refresh ☆
Wet blasting really is amazing—it cleans things up so quickly. When individual parts come out this clean, it just feels great.
Let me do a trial assembly again to confirm (‘◇’)ゞ We’ll set it in a safe spot on the right front area.
We’ll hold off on this for now until we source gaskets and such
Fuel Hose Replacement and Layout Change
I’ve replaced the fuel with fresh stock and also changed the layout. It’s better to make disconnection easy and prevent air from getting trapped in the fuel filter.
