Operability completely suffers. If you prioritize warmth and insulation, “thick” becomes necessary. The leather itself is soft, but in terms of feel, the glove “seems about two sizes larger.” That’s undeniable. That said, it’s not like you can’t ride in them at all. It’s just compared to regular gloves.
The glove is heavier and longer due to the battery. Since there’s a section to store the battery, the overall length increases. Needless to say, the glove itself feels heavy, and at first there’s nothing but discomfort. The moment I took off, I thought about switching back to regular gloves… You get used to it quickly… humans are amazing.
Is having your whole hand warm really this amazing? The discomfort with operability and weight is tolerable because of the comfort. Just having warm hands means your whole body doesn’t get cold. It’s in a completely different league from grip heaters.
Putting them on and taking them off is subtly annoying *requires patience
There are design touches throughout to make them fit better and increase airtightness. Two belts and one drawstring need to be adjusted on both hands every time you get on and off, which is a bit of a hassle.
But it’s a necessary step to stay comfortable while riding in heated gloves.

I used to love these. Pair Slope is a classic—also soft, but definitely a winter glove. Thinking about it that way, winter comfort riding = requires compromise I think. Winter gear = poor operability is unavoidable.

Very warm, but… operability and weight are drawbacks
Even balancing it all out, I think “I’m glad I bought them.” For around 15,000 yen, getting this level of comfort is worth the compromise. It makes cold-season test rides actually enjoyable.
The runtime is pretty accurate too. Adjust based on your tour length.
For just test rides, I “always run MAX.” That’s genuinely the best.
The design is… honestly not cool at all. That’s another compromise. I was surprised to hear many people say they bought heated gloves but never use them!
Don’t expect too much.
This item works best for “commuting,” “winter touring,” “business use,” and might not suit people who just want a little extra comfort.
