Back then I could swap it out with a mag anytime, but~
Most people ended up breaking the stock one and replacing it.
This cover is much more resistant to cracking compared to the stock one, so it’s a really reliable item.
I went with the old-school Yoshimura racer style? or Suzuki racer style? minus screws for fastening. (They’re brass.)
A bit of a niche suggestion. KS-MO-SA1615 This is a boss for a water temperature sensor with M16*1.5 and center PT1/8.
The strategy is to connect this to where oil temperature is typically obtained in oil-cooled systems and attach an oil pressure sensor there.
When installed, it looks like this.
You can cleanly obtain the oil pressure reading.
The oil temperature sensor had to relocate to the right.
At my skill level, I don’t scrape that area, so it’s fine.
The recent trend is to remove everything completely.
When you get the oil pressure from the location mentioned earlier, the line reaches just nearby, so you can work quickly.
