I’m not a fan of cotter pins. But I don’t have a beta pin that thick on hand. So I bent an aluminum welding rod instead—you know, that kind of thing. Why did I buy such a thick welding rod back then anyway?
Changed the oil and filter.
There are bits of gravel and tire debris scattered around—probably picked up during a spill.
Good thing it’s washable.
Topped up the coolant and we’re done.
