Cam cam glug glug. Let’s do the oil-cooled maintenance.

The damper was wearing down at a good pace.

Cleaned it out thoroughly

Swapped it for a later-model damper.

The generator damper had also hardened up.

The generator connector looks fine.

I’m a believer in liquid gasket sealant. I wonder if it actually does anything though. It’s a pain to scrape off.
If it works as well as pad grease, that’s a ◎, but if it’s just a placebo, I’d say it’s a ×.

Being lazy, I just spun the brush on the lathe and knocked it off.

Hmm, nice and clean.

How does 304 stainless steel rust this badly…?

The rough spots didn’t go away completely.

Cleaned up the muffler bracket too.

The intake side is completely shot, and the exhaust side is starting to go too.

Picture of one I forgot to coat. Even if it’s a lie, it looks better when it’s clean.

Aftermarket cable that was brought in. It’s slightly too short and won’t fit.

Balanced the carburetors too.

The air filter should be fine too.

Oil change as well.

It might be good to top it off if you can.

The drain plug—if you don’t use it forever, changing it out once in a while really lifts your spirits.
All done!
