Forced open and close—one pull. It’s got quite a sharp, tight fit. Let’s remake it.
We couldn’t find the right length, so we fabricated it using Active’s custom kit.
We’d like to bundle the throttle cable, but using cable ties creates resistance when turning the handlebars left and right.
By using mesh tubing, we protect the outer sheath while allowing the cable inside to move freely, and we still get the bundle we want.
We don’t use it, but the stock one has a pretty odd shape.
The FCR is quite something too…high-performance carburetors have lots of passages and fine details. We cleaned it, but if it still runs rough, we might need to replace it.
